The GVAC EID will raise ~$80,000 annually for projects and services that benefit economic, infrastructure, safety, and beautification development of all properties in the GVAC area. The GVAC Board will manage the funds and with ongoing input from GVAC property owners, the GVAC Board will review projects on an annual basis to ensure equitable impact. 2025 projects and services in the GVAC EID boundaries include:
Development
Contributions to Fountain Fletcher District Association to support the District Manager position ($28,000)
Project Manager Support through Fountain Fletcher District Association ($16,000)
Financially supported Epicurean International Food Festival ($250)
Financially supported installation of new mural with Fletcher Place Neighborhood Association ($1000)
Installation & maintenance of guide signage along I-65 for Fountain Square and Fletcher Place ($4,800)
Maintenance
Contribution to the Fountain Fund to maintain and preserve the Historic Fountains ($7,500)
Monthly landscaping via Heath, June - October ($10,811)
Cleaning crews in conjunction with Downtown Indy Inc. ($4,000)
Safety
Off-duty IMPD officers for Summer late night patrols on Friday, Saturday nights ($20,000)
